1. Round 1- Round 1 was an online round with 30 MCQs, 30 mins time was given. 20 questions where of Aptitude and 10 from C programming.
Aptitude was of easy to medium strength, with questions on seating arrangements(and de-arrangements), permutations, speed-distance-time, sequences. Pure Aptitude, no fuss on english.
The C programming part was tricky with almost every 7-8 question on pointers. One needs to be absolutely spot on with the pointer, double pointer game along with recursion. I felt the entire idea is to check the basics to the highest degree possible. They made questions out of simple yet fascinating concepts. I think one needs to score at least 80% to get interview calls(good 10 and 10+2 scores mandatory).
2. Round 2- Round 2 was a Webex interview the very next week after the online test. The Webex interview lasted absolutely 1 hour. The interview can be considered of 3 parts.
a. Interviewer wanting to know you- Interviewer will ask about your past experiences and give a chance to impress him about your work.
b. Coding- He will ask you to write algorithms in Python/R. Questions can be mapped back to leetcode. Ex- Generate Permutation, Longest Common Subsequence, Largest Palindrome etc. Time complexity is important here as usual. Difficulty is easy-medium.
c. Puzzle- At last he would ask you about a puzzle. This is the most important part of the interview, if you get through this puzzle then minor niggles in code goes outta window. One needs to have good analytical thinking or else practise previously questions like 3-Ant on Triangle, Planes around the world, Burning ropes, Jugs and water measurement etc. Difficulty(if not practised before)-moderate to difficult.
3. Round 3- This is generally a On-Site interview but I managed to convince them to take it via vendor office. In this round a senior data scientist would take the interview. Projects are key here, each and every aspect of past internship experience and machine learning algorithms put to production shall be critically analyzed. The interviewer will try to understand your each and every role and responsibility undertaken and try to measure "Goodness of Fit".
After that the interviewer would ask you to write down algorithms in Python/R . Questions are similar to the one asked in previous round(trace back to Leetcode).
4. Round 4- HR discussion, mere formality will ask few basic questions regarding willingness to relocate etc. Send you the offer.
